Suspended Dormant

this page is very nicely done good jobe

The Silver Leaf Journal

I could settle down here
and wait
while the seasons pass,
the cold-grey world
Surrounded by green leaves,
book leaves,
tea leaves,
I would pretend
the outside world
had disappeared,
and slip
from one dream
to the next,
Only when nature’s seeds
begin to germinate
might I, too,
and stretch for the sky,
emerging finally
when the world
is green
once more.
